We're looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our world class team! The role will report directly to the VP of Finance and will be mainly responsible for all accounting and financial cycles including transaction processing and monthly closings, tax, treasury & legal, budgeting and statutory reporting as well as management reporting.

Responsibilities will include:

Strategy part:

  • Developing new processes as well as improving existing ones as we grow, to enable the business to efficiently scale;
  • Optimise use of the ERP system (Net Suite) and participate in continuous development;

Finance & Accounting part:

  • Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries
  • Producing weekly, monthly and quarterly KPI reports and management accounts (consolidated P&L, balance sheet and cashflow)
  • Managing and submitting payroll documents monthly
  • Managing our accounts payable and receivable; making payments and issuing invoices
  • Calculating and submitting our quarterly VAT return or sales tax return (with help of a third party)
  • Support the VP and FP&A manager building the budgets and forecasts for the business
  • Working with external firm to create annual management accounts, annual return and tax computation and submit annual R&D claim

HR & Legal part:

  • Managing a team of 2 accountants and provide support with the above areas of responsibility, when necessary
  • Manage employee stock option pool (cap desk)
  • Liaising with our lawyers on behalf of the business for any service or advice required for BG

Who we're looking for:

  • Someone who can work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, roll up their sleeves and tackles issue head on
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Excellent English (written & verbal)
  • 3+ years of financial management experience, ecommerce/retail experience is an asset;
  • Sound knowledge in local Tax laws and regulations;
  • Experience with the accounting software (we use Net suite);
  • Leadership, communication and team building skills;
  • Down to earth, hands on personality, able to communicate on all levels;
  • Experience with ERP solution (preferably NetSuite)
